Jan began her scientific journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and continued her education receiving a PhD from the University of Illinois, Her focus being on nucleic acids, in particular transfer RNA, Jan did several post doctoral fellowships at the University of Manitoba medical school, and then began research in industrial microbiology. She has over 30 research papers published in scientific journals, including her PhD thesis subject published in Nature. Jan holds 7 industrial patents including ones for the production of HFCS and light beer.
Jan is a mother of three, and when developing and streamlining industrial-scale fermentations started to require too much time away from her family, Jan enrolled at Midwestern University School of Pharmacy and obtained her Pharm D degree. Pharmacy School exposed her to homeopathy, and after completing her pharmacy degree Jan enrolled in the American Medical College of Homeopathy; completing their 3 year program.
Homeopathy exposed Jan to energy medicine, in particular Reiki, and she became a level 3 Reiki practitioner. She met Lawrence through a friend who is a Naturopath, and was immediately taken with the gentle yet thorough healing Nutripuncture provides. She is focused on ways to document and visualize the healing Nutripuncture and other bioenergetic modalities provide.
